Concept - The BIG picture
NOTE: we are still in the concept phase so many of the details can and probably will change.
Gallery theme/emphasis: two and three dimensional art with an emphasis on western, Texas and the Hill Country settings. Rough numbers are, 40%-50% western, 25%-35% Texas and Hill country. Western might include southwest style, native american, nature scenes, etc. Texas and Hill Country might include anything from landscapes to architecture, the people, nature, etc.
Who runs the gallery: Mark and Andi would make the business decisions and be responsible for oversight of the gallery. With this said, the emphasis is on the artists, they will have much input into how we operate on a daily basis.
Who works in the gallery: The short answer - we hope everyone will lend a hand. That said, you will not be required to work there but to be successful, we cannot afford to hire employees.
Who can display in the gallery: Space will be available for artists studios and/or display. All work will be juried by Mark, Andi and other artists selected by them. There is also warehouse space available, great area for creating three dimensional artwork.
Display space available: Wall and floor space will be available. Currently, there are two artists requesting floor space for studio and three dimensional work.
