Galleries - Lampasas
Lampasas in the heart ofthe hill country is located 69 miles NW of Austin on the corner of Hwys 183 and 281. The 1883 Lampasas County Courthouse is the third oldest Texas Courthouse still functioning as one. In 1984 the clockwork was moved to the first floor for public viewing. Molding was placed on the first floor walls at the high water mark from the 1957 flood. One beautiful spring day while on a short trip through the hill country, I stopped to see their couthouse. Conditions weren't the greatest outside so I captured a few shots of the interior of the courthouse. It's a beautifully restored building.
Below are a few of my favorite pictures that I thought would make nice Fine Art Prints - click a picture, mouse over it, then click "NEXT" to view each picture in a large format.
There is no link to my Flickr account since I only got these few shots. I'm hoping to make it back there in 2010 to capture the spirit of this sleepy little town.
