My interest in photography began in the 1970’s while attending college. As a computer science major, I needed an outlet for artistic expression. After taking a couple photography classes, I found it! Starting with a Canon AE1 as well as a very artistic and talented new wife I began shooting mostly architecture and street scenes in black and white. My creativity then spilled over into the darkroom where I processed black and white photos and found new ways to raise the creativity bar. Then, the real fun began...
In 2005, after retiring early from the corporate world , I chose my second career as a photographer and digital artist. Now using all digital equipment and processes, I have created many pieces of photographic and digital art winning numerous awards in the process. Several of my photos have been published, including two magazine covers, and used on various websites.
I now shoot primarily for Fine Art specializing in landscape, architecture, nature and street scenes with occasional efforts in portraiture. I print most of my own work using professional quality Epson printers with Ultrachrome K3 inks and museum quality papers creating artwork that can last for hundreds of years.
