Galleries - Salado
Salado is a sleepy little town between Austin and Waco. Perhaps not really part ofthe hill country. They have a nice small town shopping district and lots of Bed & Breakfasts. Salado got its start due to its proximity to two area lakes and a river providing nesting for the first stagecoach stop on the networks of cattle trails moving cowboys and cattle from San Antonio to Missouri and beyond. The Stagecoach Inn is the longest, and most colorful continuous running hotel in the state's history. Frequented by herders and desperados, the registration book also includes some names of some of Texas' most famed citizens.
Below are a few of my favorite pictures that I thought would make nice Fine Art Prints - click a picture, mouse over it, then click "NEXT" to view each picture in a large format.
At the bottom of the page is a link to a more comprehensive collection viewed through my Flickr account. Most of these can be purchased as Fine Art Prints.
NOTE: Pictures on Flickr are low resolution and will not print well if purchased through Flickr.
